Bristol’s Rhythm and Roots Festival
Come and celebrate Bristol Virginia’s long
musical tradition and bluegrass & blues heritage
at the Rhythm and Roots Festival. Each year in
September, artists and bluesmen from all over
the country join together in Bristol Virginia to
pay homage to their roots and put on a fantastic
show for those lucky enough to be in the area.
One of the finest Virginia Bluegrass Festivals,
Rhythm and Roots Festival is a fun time for all
featuring
talented performers. Both young and old take
the stage together to perform in front of large
crowds of students, families, and old timers
gathering to remember the important role that Bristol
played in the birthplace of country music. The
two day Virginia Bluegrass Festival is filled with food, great music,
and plenty of arts and crafts exhibits. Be sure

Rhythm and Roots Festival is slated to take

The National Story Telling Festival in
Jonesborough
Every
year folklorist and storytellers from across the
world join together at the National Storytelling
Festival in Jonesborough Tennessee, a lovely
small town in Northeast Tennessee. Gathering at
the International Storytelling Center, the
National Storytelling Festival convenes to
further the craft of storytelling and promote
storytelling and folklore artists from around
the world. Children of all ages love coming to
the festival and enjoying the storytelling and
dynamic performances given by some of the best

Unicoi County Apple Festival in Erwin
Tennessee
For over thirty years residents and visitors to
Northeast Tennessee have been flocking to the
small town of Erwin Tennessee for the famous
Unicoi County Apple Festival. The Erwin
Tennessee Apple Festival
takes place each year during the first weekend
of October and has drawn record crowds year
after year. Unicoi County is known as one of the
best apple growing counties in all the Southeast
and the Erwin Tennessee Apple Festival is
perhaps the finest in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Come celebrate the
apple harvest

The Appalachian Fair in Gray Tennessee
Every year in August the Appalachian Fair comes to Gray Tennessee.

The Appalachian Fair is a great event the whole
