The National Story Telling Festival in Jonesborough
Every year folklorist and storytellers from across the world join together at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough Tennessee, a lovely small town in Northeast Tennessee. Gathering at the International Storytelling Center, the National Storytelling Festival convenes to further the craft of storytelling and promote storytelling and folklore artists from around the world. Children of all ages love coming to the festival and enjoying the storytelling and dynamic performances given by some of the best storytellers in the country. Unicoi County Apple Festival in Erwin Tennessee
For over thirty years residents and visitors to Northeast Tennessee have been flocking to the small town of Erwin Tennessee for the famous Unicoi County Apple Festival. The Erwin Tennessee Apple Festival takes place each year during the first weekend of October and has drawn record crowds year after year. Unicoi County is known as one of the best apple growing counties in all the Southeast and the Erwin Tennessee Apple Festival is perhaps the finest in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Appalachian Fair in Gray Tennessee
